Fans of AHM would appreciate this concerto by Morricone. If I could recommend a modern composer to listen to that fits in to the discussion of Pink Floyd/Stanley Kubrick (film scores), it would have to be Morricone. (Once Apon a Time in the West/Debroha's theme.my absolute favorites). I'm a big fan of Ennio Morricone, most famous for his scoring of the spaghetti westerns of the 1960's. One of them is called Switched on to Bach which uses electric synths in place of strings somewhat of a modern (1970's) rendition of some classical symphonies. There are some records I own that are of a similar sound to the UVT. The ultraviolent theme in particular gave me an appreciation for classicical music and composers.
